Fantastic holidays
Atrani Masaniello apartment is simply fantastic, this was the best accommodation on our 2 wk trip. Atrani village is a bit away from the most touristic parts of Amalfi Coast (when you visit Positano you will understand this), but bigger Amalfi is just a short walking-distance away. The huge roof terrace overlooking the sea, easy access to the beach and the central square on the other side make this apt the best spot in town. It was very clean, nicely furnished and well equipped. Very easy to do boat trips along the coast, visit Ravello or other sights by bus or car. The parking at the nearby garage is not very cheap but well-organised and easy to use. Rossella and her team were most welcoming and had excellent tips and general information on the area. Special thanks to Rossella's sister Paola, who took us to the local ER after our 3-yr-old son had an unfortunate jumping accident, without her translation and guidance we would have been in trouble! Now everything went smoothly and very quickly. My family and I (kids aged 3 and 6) would highly recommend this apartment and Rossella to anyone wishing to experience the Amalfi coast.

My husband and I along with our two children (aged 2 and 4) stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks - 26th of June to 10th of July, 2009. As we were travelling from Dublin we booked a taxi to meet us at the airport. Our taxi driver rang the offices of Altra Costiera en route to inform them we were on our way and a member of staff met us in Atrani upon our arrival. The apartment was very clean and the information pack was very detailed and was of great assistance to us throughout our stay - particularly with the recycling rules.
The location of the apartment is just above the piazza and very handy for the beach and the restaurants.
The apartment was spacious, airy and very very clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. As the apartment is over the piazza - it is close to all the amenities.
We particularly liked the automatic skylight window in the living room which let in the morning sun.
The views from the kitchen and the first bedroom (overlooking the piazza) are great.
The sun terrace is lovely but we did not use for two reasons: (i) due to our preference for the beach and (ii) with young children I felt it was a bit dangerous as there is a seating area which would allow young children to climb up and then there is a drop to the piazza so we simply locked the door to the sun terrace.
The staff at AltraCostiera were very efficient and very polite- from our initial email enquiries to the return of the keys of the apartment.
We are hoping to Atrani next summer as we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only thing we would change would be that a ground floor apartment as our children are still so young and we were still a bit worried about the terraces.

Ideal apartment and town for your Amalfi Coast stay
Masaniello was the ideal apartment for myself and my 3 friends for our 2 week stay in Atrani in September 2017. The apartment is large, clean and the huge rooftop deck with it's 360 degree view of Atrani is unbeatable!! It's also so conveniently located to everything...the Atrani piazza and all of it's restaurants, gelato shop and small grocery stores and SITA bus transportation to the rest of the Amalfi Coast. Just an easy 10 minute walk to get to Amalfi for more transportation connections for tours and for larger grocery stores.
Rossella and her sister Paola were exactly on time to check us in and out of the apartment and provided us with all the information we needed about the apartment and the area. They were very friendly and hospitable and offered to help us with anything else we needed during our stay.
Atani is a wonderful, authentic Italian town and myself and my friends are very happy that we chose to stay there...and we want to come back and stay at Masaniello Atrani again!!

Rossella is a great service oriented person ! Casa Masaniello, in Atrani, is an excellent place to stay. The appartment is big and clean with all the commodities you need including 2 bathrooms. We were 5 and had all the space we needed. The beach is right across the street. The bus stop is in front of the house and you can buy the bus tickets right there in the piazza. You do need to know that there are steps, lots of them, every where you go....Nothing is flat! Atrani is very small and much more quiet than Amalfi ; you can find very good restaurants, grocery, butcher and fish stores. In the piazza, you can have a drink, a coffee or a good meal. Sometimes, you have music and singers and people dance in the middle of the piazza. If you want action, shopping or more, just a 10 minute walk and you're in Amalfi.( really 10 minutes ) Rossella is the owner of in Amalfi. Her tourist agency office is situated on the main street, very easy to find and they will help you with all the information you will need to make your vacation on the Amalfi Coast a dream to remember. My family and I highly recommand Atrani and Altra Costiera. Thank you again Rossella Lisa and family

Holiday in Atrani September 2014
The apartment is exactly as shown on the website, if not even better. The roof terrace is fantastic, the apartment is in a perfect location, ideal for sightseeing, right in the centre of Atrani village. Great for both relaxing, having a quiet holiday as well as being close to the many attractions on the amalfi coast.
Rossella and her team were fantastic. They were extremely friendly, helpful, very welcoming. They were also very informative about excursions and trip without being pushy.

A fantastic roof terrace
The apartment is perfect for a holiday on Amalfi coast. It is in a very small town of Atrani, with very pleasant authentic atmosphere, very nice not crowded beach, very good restaurants, which are situated around a single square. So you can have a glimpse of real Italian life, not intruded by millions of tourists. Yet it is in the centre of everything interesting . Amalfi is literally 10 minutes by foot. From there you can go anywhere. By boat or by bus.
The apartment is very comfortable, clean,very central, close to everything. It has balconies that look at the main square where all the life of the village is going on. love this place
sitting on top of the piazza - steps to the beach - private roof deck with plenty of seating - only a dozen or so steps up to the unit - a kitchen you can cook (and eat) a full family meal in - this apartment was great.
the decorations are a bit modern & plain, so if you're looking for a real "old-school" crusty historic seaside village apartment...then you may be disappointed. Also, the few steps to the unit can be somewhat dark & difficult to navigate at night - but, the town is superb & the location is stellar, so it very easily made up for these minor items.
staff was wonderful - super helpful & very attentive, & the whole experience was excellent...it is a perfect little town & this apartment was a surprisingly pleasant value...would definitely stay again. enjoy...
