Arrival and DeparturePlease inform us of your arrival time and/or your flight details so we can arrange delivery of the key. Arrivals must be timed between 15.00h and 20.00h. Regrettably, if you arrive between 20.00h and 22.00h there will be a € 50,00 surcharge. Arrivals later than 22.00h will not be accepted and delivery of keys will not be possible. A surcharge of EUR 50 applies for Sunday arrivals (the check in time has to be agreed. Sunday check-in time is between 4pm to 8.00pm If clients leave the villa or the apartment before 9.00 o’ clock in the morning we will hold the deposit which will be sent by electronic draft bank to the agency or guests the day after their departure. It is necessary to inform us of your approximate arrival time at least 10 days before your arrive. In order to facilitate key delivery, please call us on the final leg of your journey to the Amalfi Coast

L'ancora is a house located in a very quiet place of Conca dei Marini, ideal for a small family or a couple; it has a large private terrace with sea view, a double bedroom and a small single bedroom, kitchenette and dining area with table and sofa

Description

L'ancora is situated in Conca dei Marini, a very small town of the Amalfi Coast, a very welcoming sea town. The apartment, suitable for a family of 3 people has a terrace from which you can admire the magical atmosphere of this wonderful place. The house is reached via 15 steps and it is in a very quiet area. The public car park is at few meters from the property. The grocery store and restaurants are located at approximately 600 meters.

The beach known as Marina Di Conca is a small bay surrounded by numerous white and little houses and the only access is by stairs. On the beach there are 3 restaurants/pizzeria.

At about 700 meters we find the Tower of Capo di Conca, also called Saracen Tower or White Tower, it is an old sixteenth-century watchtower that stands on the promontory called Capo di Conca next to which we now find a private platform with access to the sea and a restaurant. The lido provides to the customers a shuttle which is included in the entry price. If you need any help for your booking we would be pleased to assist you.

The apartment is made up of:

A kitchen furnished with stove top, oven, a small fridge and washing-machine;
A double bedroom with direct access to the terrace;
A single bedroom with a small window (no air-conditioning);
A dining/living room with a sofa and access to the terrace, from which you can enjoy your holiday in a good company of a glass of local wine!
A complete and small bathroom with a shower;

Parking on the street available in the blue line that is payable but the owner has included it for you so at your arrival you will get a card to give back at your departure. In case clients lose the card there would be a fine to be paid of € 300,00 to replace a new card.

The bus stop that connects Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento is located at about 600 meters away from the property

“From the moment we booked this place to the time we returned to the US, Rossella was helpful and timely in her response to each of our messages. First of all, the photos of the view from the balcony absolutely do not do it justice. The view is spectacular! The first morning I rolled out of bed I was left breathless. I had dreamed of enjoying my morning coffee on that terrace and it far exceeded my expectations. Rossella's apartment was clean upon our arrival, the bed and linens were fresh and the kitchen had all we needed to make ourselves three meals a day if needed (which we did a few days). Check-in was simple and Rossella even coordinated for her colleague to meet us at the Pier in Amalfi (we arrived by boat from Capri), help us into a taxi, and provided our taxi driver with directions to the apartment. Once at the apartment we are shown around and provided the opportunity to ask questions about where the local market was, how to get to the beach, the closest SITA stop, etc. This was above and beyond what we expected. Lastly, I would highly recommend staying in Conca Dei Marini. It is situated between Positano and Amalfi and was the perfect location for our stay. Not only is the view from Conca breathtaking, but it is a quiet little village away from the hustle and bustle of the more popular and overcrowded towns of Amalfi, Positano, Sorrento, etc. Each day we walked to the market up get fresh, local food and/or down to the beach. Whether morning or night we felt completely safe walking around Conca and thoroughly enjoyed taking in the Amalfi Coast in such peace and solitude. Just a short walk down the hill from Rossella's apartment is the Hotel Belvedere where you can purchase SITA bus tickets and catch the bus to each of the surrounding towns. No need for a car. We planned to cook many of our meals at the apartment and were delighted to find the market a short distance up the hill from the apartment to be friendly and well-stocked. They even spoke good enough English to help us navigate the area. And do yourself a favor: eat at the restaurant attached to the market, Le Bonta Del Capo. They have a huge outdoor patio with a beautiful view of the Tyrrhenian Sea towards Positano. The food was spectacular, very well-priced and the service was unbelievable. All in all, we found everyone in Conca to be incredibly friendly. I have already recommended Rossella's place to many friends back home and would absolutely recommend you stay here if you are considering it.”

Fantastic location and amazing view!

Fantastic location and amazing view. Balcony is private and is accessible from the living room (small door) and the bedroom (full sized door). Paola was very helpful in finding us a parking spot and meeting us and showing us how everything in the apartment worked. Conca dei Marini has a few good restaurants if you go up the hill from the apartment, or you can walk down the hill to Hotel Belvedere and purchase bus tickets from the hotel to Amalfi.

We have spent last week here. Absolutely stunning location. Pictures on here do not do it justice. The views on the balcony are truly beautiful and comfy sun loungers were a plus! Malina Met is by the pharmacy. We parked in a space behind the blue line across the road - easy to find a space in the village and just pop your card you get on the dashboard. We didn’t have the air conditioning as the rooms were fairly cool in the evening. Top tip get your local bus tickets for Sita bus in the hardware store which has the atm outside or we even bought them in belverdere hotel which is a walk down in the direction of the beach and the buses go Sorrento direction and amalfi direction. We had amazing cocktails here at the hotel after walking up from the beach. Everywhere in Conca there are steps- lots down to the beach and lots up. The beach is pretty and small with three restaurants - we went to l’illcampo twice, lovely food and service. Safe swimming but take rubbery shoes as the pebbles are a killer. We ate our at capo Bonita restaurant next door to grocery store twice. Absolutely gorgeous food and lemoncillo🌸 we visited Positano, Pompeii, Amalfi, grotto Della Smeraldo. Lovely time. Thank you

The views from the balcony were amazing!! Neighborhood was so great and the local italian restaurant near the market became our go to. Definitely a spacious apartment and the overall scenic walk to it is amazing.

Amazing view and great apartment!

We stayed 5 days in l'Ancora apartment at Conca Dei Marini with my girlfriend. She had a birthday, so this is a perfect place to celebrate it, especially because of the view. The view is amazing! The location of the apartment is great, near the parking and in between Conca Dei Marini, so you can reach the beach and the mini market easily. Also, from this point it is very convenient to travel to other villages like Positano and Amalfi. The apartment itself is spacious and there are al lot of wardrobes and storages, so no problems to store all your stuff. Kitchen it well equipped. Bathroom is also good. The best place is terrace! It is very spacious and the view is absolutely great! The only minus for us was the absence of internet, but honestly, when you come to Conca Dei Marini and have this view, you forget about internet:) Hosts were very kind and helped us during check-in. I would recommend this apartment to everyone, who wants to stay in a calm, silent and very convenient place at Amalfi Coast.
